The 20th annual International Conference on Particle Physics and Cosmology (COSMO-16) will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The meeting is being hosted by the Physics Department of the University of Michigan. Plenary and parallel sessions will be held at Mendelssohn Theatre and Michigan League on the UM campus, walking distance to downtown Ann Arbor.

There are a couple of options for getting to and from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to get to Ann Arbor from the DTW airport with no traffic hold-ups. For information about DTW you can visit: http://www.metroairport.com
It is not necessary to make taxi arrangements in advance if you use Metro Cabs/Metro Cars (http://www.metrocars.com/) as they are at the DTW airport 24/7 at all ground transportation centers. Their cabs are $58 one way (estimated), while a nice limo (‘Metro Car’) with the uniformed driver is $73 - arrive in style!
SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE AT DTW AIRPORT: To save money, many people use this service instead. The closest stop to UM Central Campus is the Blake Transit Center which is a little bit of a walk - it's about 6 blocks away. The shuttle is reliable if the times work with your flights. For those traveling locally (and not staying in hotels from which there are shuttles), parking is available at several structures nearby. If you park at Palmer Commons (noted on the map), we can provide you with free parking passes; let us know if you need them when you pick up your badges and materials.
Those of you staying at Inn at the Cambridge House (also known as West Quad), Michigan League, Graduate, Residence Inn, or Bell Tower hotel, are within short walking distance from the conference venue.
For those of you staying at Hampton Inn, Courtyard Inn, Fairfield Inn, and Holiday Inn we have organized local transportation: there will be buses running every 20 minutes in the following intervals:
If you are not staying at either of the aforementioned hotels, you are on your own. Many locations offer a pleasant walk to Ann Arbor's central campus. You might also want to check out the excellent public transport within the city (www.theride.org).
